Macy is growing up so fast! She is a beautiful little lady, with a fun personality.

FINALLY, an updated picture of all three! We are so thankful to have such great kids! Each one is sooooo different- we are enjoying them now more than EVER!
It's a busy life! Kade just finished football (Pewitt won Bi-District in Football- Jr. would be upset if I didn't mention that!) and BASKETBALL has begun! We LOVE basketball and more than that, we love watching Kade play basketball! He is really excited because he made the varsity team this year! Drew is having a great first year of Jr. High. He plays the trumpet in the band this year. He really has an ear for music (unlike his mother!). This year he moved into the youth group. He loves it! Macy turned 7 in October. She is full of personality! Most of the time Jr. and I just look at each other and laugh. She's so much fun, but she does know how to "push our buttons." In a few days Jr. and I will celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary! It is a busy time for us, but everyday I am thankful!

New School Year is Here!

Well school has started again which means new clothes, new schools (Drew is now a 6th grader Jr. High!!!), & Football. Here are a few shots of Kade and his first game against Arp. He caused a fumble on a punt and recovered a fumble in the endzone for a touchdown. I got the fumble but didn't catch the touchdown.

District 17-AA "Newcomer of the Year"

Kade was selected Newcomer of the Year to District 17-AA this year as a Freshman. His parents couldn't be any prouder for him. Here is a picture of him with his friends Donavan Jarvis and Carson Anderson after their last varsity ballgame at New Boston. He started summer league basketball on Saturday and had 28 points in the first JV game, 8 in first Varsity(only played 1 half), 18 in the next JV game, and 8 more in the final Varsity game.

Drew is still playing little league and doing great as well. He didn't like that his dad called for a sacrifice bunt the last game. Now doesn't he look a great player. Here he is about to pound the ball.

Here's Drew questioning my pitches I was calling.

Check out my little man!

Now here he is at 1st base his normal position unless he is pitching.

Here is a few of Macy!

Focused!

Check out that form!

It's all about how you look!

Baseball is in full swing at the Cox's House!

Well Baseball season is here for Drew and Macy now to go along with Kade's. I will lead you through a typical week at our house. Monday is an off day. Tuesday's games start at 6:30 with Kade, Macy's are usually at 7:30, & Drew's are at 8:00. Thankfully we have GRANDparents who have been helping out since you can't have 2 parents at 3 ballgames. Macy is loving T-ball. I think she is the prettiest little ballplayer there ever has been. Drew is doing awesome as expected. Kade has been enjoying playing Varsity even though it has been a bumpy year for the team. Now Mom and Dad are being stretched as far as we like. Here are a few pics of the kiddos....

We are the Champions my Friends!

Drew's little Dribblers team finished their season this last week. They won in grand fashion with a last second free throw with 1.6 seconds to go. Drew continued his defensive prowness with an awesome charge that he took on the other team's top players for his 4th foul.

I'm feeling old

Well Sunday came and went just like any other day. Except for the fact that my little boy turned 15. Man does that make me feel old. Hard to believe that my son who just like yesterday was amazed at watching basketball while I held him up. Kade has grown up to be such a fine young man that his Mom and I are so proud of. Most of you know that I get all caught up in sports especially with my kids. Kader made Varsity as a Freshman. Here is a picture of his first game. I'm not the photographer of the family but it was recorded. But in my time of reflection of all that he has accomplished with his baseball career it is not what I'm most proud of. I thank God daily for the family that he has given me. Kade is an example of his Mother's guidance. It was my hope that all of my kids grow up to be successful in whatever field that they choose and to put God first in their lives. I know that this is Kade dominant and not to leave out Drewboy and Macy but he has reached an age that I feel confident that the mold has set for him on how he will take on anything that life has to throw at him. I only pray that everyone has the experience that I have had with my kids.

Cox Family News:

Kade just finished basketball season last week- now...it's time for golf and baseball. Tomorrow is his first golf game? Or is it tournament? Whatever you call it, he's going to go PLAY GOLF!!!! He's really excited to play baseball for the school team this year. I think his first game will be Thursday.

Drew is playing "Little Dribblers" with a team from Pewitt. He LOVES IT! Recently Jr. got concerned because he wasn't playing hard, sluggish, or whatever...Of course, my first thought was Jr. was expecting a little much from our little boy...but, then I started noticing the same thing around the house...turns out he had MONO! And there we were pushing him to "Come on Drew, Push Harder, RRRRRRRUUUUUUUNNNNNNNN!" Call us bad parents...Who Knew???!!! Anyway, he's in 5th Grade and loving it!

Macy is thrilled- She's playing baseball this year for the first time...she's wearing her Daddy out practicing! And, she's ready to PLAY, NOW!!!! It's kind of hard to get her to understand, ok, you haven't even gotton drafted to be on a team! She's just soooo excited!

We are all excited for Jr.. He recently became the Branch Manager for the bank he works for. The branch is in Atlanta...about 35 minutes from home. He really enjoys working there. We are really proud of him and excited about this new opportunity!

Me? Well, let's see...I love being the sport's MOM! (It's busy, but I love it!) I'm still teaching Kindergarten. It's a new adventure every day- I can honestly say I never know what I'm walking into each day. --So, I look at it this way - I don't get bored! I'm looking forward to this summer...Kade and I are going on a mission trip with our church to Brazil! I went to Brazil in ... I think it was '96 or '97,but I think I am more excited about this trip because Kade will be going too! Of course we had to make sure the trip could work around Camp Deer Run- and so it does! Looks like our boys will be there 4th.

So there it is...an update- IT'S A MIRACLE!
